A liquid crystal display panel (1) includes: a flexible first plastic substrate (11); a TFT substrate (10) having a terminal region (T) on the first plastic substrate (11) where a terminal (27) and a wire electrode (28) are formed; a CF substrate (20) facing the TFT substrate (10) and having a flexible second plastic substrate (13); and a liquid crystal layer (25) provided between the TFT substrate (10) and the CF substrate (20). The liquid crystal display panel (1) includes a metal layer (15) provided on a surface of the second plastic substrate (13) which faces the terminal region (T) to reflect laser light, and a protection film (16) sandwiched between the TFT substrate (10) and the CF substrate (20) to cover the metal layer (15). |

1. A display panel, comprising:
a first substrate which includes a flexible first plastic substrate and a terminal region on the first plastic substrate where a terminal and a wire electrode are formed; a second substrate which faces the first substrate and includes a flexible second plastic substrate; and a display medium layer provided between the first substrate and the second substrate, wherein the display panel includes a metal layer provided on a surface of the second plastic substrate which faces the terminal region to reflect laser light, and a protection film sandwiched between the first substrate and the second substrate to cover the metal layer, and the protection film includes a laser light absorbing film which covers the metal layer, and a resin film provided on the wire electrode and layered on the laser light absorbing film. |
