Disclosed is a method for controlling an engine clutch of a hybrid vehicle, providing reactivity improvement in the bonding of the engine clutch by differentially controlling the standby hydraulic pressure of the engine clutch depending on mode switching conditions when changed to a HEV mode while driving in an EV mode. The present invention comprises: a step of determining whether a transition to the HEV mode is requested while driving in the EV mode; a step of determining the mode switching conditions when the transition to the HEV mode is requested; and a step of differentially controlling the standby hydraulic pressure of the engine clutch in accordance with the mode switching conditions. |
