The present application relates to an optical filter, a manufacturing method thereof, a built-in polarizing plate, and a display device. The optical filter includes a light transmission control area which is appropriate for the demarcation between the areas formed to generate polarized lights different from each other at a light-splitting layer which, for example, enables viewing of three-dimensional image from a wider viewing angle using the optical filter, and includes a scattering layer which planarizes the protrusion formed by the light transmission control area, which maintains application of the optical filter to a device and adhesive properties to other components within the device. |
