The present invention relates to a system and method for providing a coupon based on a location. The system includes a store terminal device and a customer information device. The store terminal device transmits terminal information of a customer terminal device received in a short-range wireless communications method and uniquely given identification information through a network, displays the terminal information of the customer terminal device received through the network according to a selection of a store owner, generates coupon information according to a selection of the store owner, and transmits the generated coupon information to the customer terminal device. The customer information device is connected to the store terminal device through the network to receive the terminal information of the customer terminal device and the identification information of the store terminal device from the store terminal device and store the received information, and provides the terminal information of the customer terminal device through the network according to a request of the store terminal device. Accordingly, the system and method enable the store owner to check directly customers located in a coupon information service area of the store through the store terminal device, to generate coupon information to be provided to each customer in real time, and to provide the generated coupon information to specific users to issue various kinds of coupons according to the customers, thereby improving use efficiency of the coupon. |
