The present invention relates to an optical sheet and a liquid crystal display device having the same. The liquid crystal display device according to the present invention includes a liquid crystal panel, an optical sheet located on the back side of the liquid crystal panel, and a backlight unit which includes a light source located on a side of the optical sheet. The optical sheet includes a base layer, a first optical pattern which is formed in the lower part of the base layer and has a first refractive index, a low refractive layer which covers the first optical pattern and has a second refractive index, and a second optical pattern which is formed in the upper part of the base layer and has a third refractive index. Accordingly, the prevent invention can secure a liquid crystal display device which is thin, light and economical in terms of price. |
