A display device according to an embodiment of the present invention reduces the thickness, and also reduces manufacturing costs since a touch screen does not have to be additionally installed on an upper surface of a display panel unlike before by installing a sensing electrode to sense a touch of a user inside the display panel. The display device comprises: a thin film transistor formed in a pixel region defined by an intersecting arrangement of a gate line and a data line, and including a gate electrode, a semiconductor layer, a source electrode, and a drain electrode; a first protective film and a second protective film sequentially formed on the thin film transistor, and equipped with a hole exposing a part of the source electrode and the drain electrode; a pixel electrode pattern-formed on the second protective film, and connected to the drain electrode exposed through the hole; a sensing line pattern-formed on the second protective film; a common electrode connected to the sensing line; a data pad connected to an end of the data line; a first connection electrode and a second connection electrode sequentially pattern-formed on the data pad; and a data pad electrode formed of the same substance as the common electrode, connected to the data pad through the first connection electrode and the second connection electrode. |
