The present invention relates to a system and a method for providing driver-customized information based on vehicle location information. The system comprises: a user information collecting unit to receive user information including user personal information inputted when a user who intends to use a service joins the service using a vehicle terminal or a driver terminal and user′s schedule management information, interest field information, and habit information that are inputted during use of the service and to store the user information in a user account database; a driving information collecting unit to receive, from the vehicle terminal, driving information including an identifier of a vehicle, current location information and destination information set by the user through a wireless wideband network and to generate a vehicle driving initiation signal when the driving information is newly received; an event detecting unit to monitor, in real time, changes of the user information and the driving information according to the vehicle driving initiation signal and to generate an event based on the user information and the driving information; and a notification information transmitting unit to generate notification information including certain content when the event is generated and to transmit the generated notification information to the vehicle terminal or the driver terminal using the network. |
