<p>The device has an absorption column (B), and a contact setting unit (B1) that is arranged between gas e.g. carbon dioxide, and liquid such that effluent gas is added with an absorbing solution to produce deacidized gas. A regeneration column releases acid compounds e.g. mercaptans, contained in the absorbing solution. A liquid collection unit is placed in the absorption column between the contact setting unit and a liquid tank (T). A pipe (4) establishes a communication with the liquid collection unit till the tank, where the pipe plunges in the tank. An independent claim is also included for a method for deacidification of gas.</p> |
