<p>The invention relates to a method for the real-time determination of the mass of fluid in a cryogenic tank (1) for containing a liquid-gas dual-phase mixture, wherein said method comprises: the step of measuring the pressure differential (DP) between the upper and lower portions of the tank (DP=PB-PH), the measure being carried out using at least one offset pressure sensor (4) connected to the upper and lower portions of the tank by respective measurement pipes (11, 12) including a higher pipe (11), the step of calculating the liquid level (hl) in the tank (1) according to the general formula hl = DP.R1 -R2 in which R1 is a first pressure correction coefficient that takes into account the influence of the pressure in the measurement pipes (11, 12), and R2 is a second correction coefficient that takes into account the influence of the pressure in the measurement pipes (11, 12) as well as the geometry of the tank (1).</p> |
