In this method for treating a fluorine-containing liquid electrolyte, the following steps are performed: a first vaporization step in which water is added to a fluorine-containing liquid electrolyte, said fluorine-containing liquid electrolyte is then heated so as to vaporize a volatile component therein, and a gas resulting from the vaporization of said volatile component is recovered; and a second vaporization step in which, after the first vaporization step, while a liquid residue from the first vaporization step is being heated, a heated gas is fed thereto, thereby vaporizing a volatile component in the liquid residue, and a gas resulting from the vaporization of said volatile component is recovered. Fluorine in either the aforementioned gases or a condensate of said gases is reacted with calcium and thereby fixated in the form of calcium fluoride, and an organic solvent component in said gases is also recovered. |
