摘要 The present invention discloses a spherical character keyboard, comprising left and right oppositely arranged rotating cylinders; the rotating cylinders are provided with keys and a key circuit; one of the rotating cylinders has a T-shaped structure on the axis of rotation, and the other rotating cylinder has an accommodating chamber compatible with the T-shaped structure at the top of the axis of rotation, the head portion of the axis of rotation extending into the accommodating chamber; a multipoint potentiometer is disposed on the axis of rotation and the accommodating chamber wall, and the key circuit and the multipoint potentiometer are connected in series; when the two rotating cylinders move relative to each other translationally or rotationally, the resistance of the multipoint potentiometer changes such that in different positions, the same key outputs different electrical signals, which the control chip identifies as different characters. According to the distinctions formed between different offset positions according to the movement of the left and right hemispheres, the present invention is such that a single key generates and outputs a plurality of different characters by means of the keyboard circuit, thus making the keys more versatile; just 27 keys generate all of the characters that can be entered by the 101 keys on a standard keyboard, thus the volume of the keyboard is greatly reduced, and it is easy to use.
