<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a rotation angle with high accuracy in a short time.SOLUTION: An angle measurement system includes: a rotary encoder 2 which includes a rotation axis 3 as a rotor to be attached to a rotation axis (rotation drive shaft) of a measurement object 1, and an encoder body 2a as a support reference body to support the rotation axis 3, and which functions as relative angle detection means to detect a relative rotation angle of the rotation axis 3 with respect to the encoder body 2a; and non-contact angle detection means 20 as optical position check means remote from the rotation axis 3 and the encoder body 2a, to optically detect a position of the encoder body 2a. A rotation angle detected by the rotary encoder 2 can be corrected based on a position detected by the non-contact angle detection means 20, and a rotation angle can be measured with high accuracy in a short time.</p> |
