An information feedback method, a codebook determination method, and user equipment and a base station thereof. The information feedback method comprises: the user equipment feeding related information back to the base station when transmission of one or more data streams is supported in both the horizontal direction and the vertical direction of an antenna array; the related information comprises any one or more of the quantity of data streams supported in the vertical direction, the quantity of data streams supported in the horizontal direction and the quantity of total data streams supported by the user equipment; and when the quantity of data streams supported in the horizontal direction or the quantity of data streams supported in the vertical direction is a predetermined value, the related information comprises any one of the quantity of data streams supported in the vertical direction and the quantity of total data streams supported by the user equipment, or the related information comprises any one of the quantity of data streams supported in the horizontal direction and the quantity of total data streams supported by the user equipment. In accordance of the method, signaling overhead in a single feedback can be reduced and the dimension of precoding matrix can be decreased.
