Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for a controlling a working frequency of a compressor. The method comprises: obtaining a detection parameter and a fixed parameter; in a case in which the time of hot water preparation is fixed, calculating a working frequency of a compressor according to the detection parameter and the fixed parameter, so as to obtain a frequency regulation value of the compressor; and controlling the frequency output of the compressor according to the frequency regulation value.
