摘要 The present invention relates to a discharge electrode. Multiple discharge electrodes are formed to pass through each dust collection tube of a dust collection electrode where multiple dust collection tubes are integrally formed in a vertical wet electrostatic precipitator. In addition, both ends of each discharge electrode are connected to upper and lower hanger bars respectively arranged on the top and bottom of the dust collection electrode. In addition, the discharge electrodes generate corona discharge and an electric field due to high voltage applied via the upper and lower hanger bars, in order to allow dust to be collected on the dust collection tubes of the dust collection electrode. Provided is a discharge electrode with a protective cover, comprising a discharge electrode rod made of a metal material with electrical conductivity and forming most of the length of the discharge electrode; multiple discharge pins arranged at equal intervals in a longitudinal direction on the discharge electrode rod and generating an electric field; a protective cover arranged around the discharge electrode rod and covering the discharge electrode rod except the discharge pins; a connecting rod which is integrally connected to both ends of the discharge electrode rod, has a screw part formed on the outer circumferential surface in order to be connected to the upper and lower hanger bars, and is made of a metal material with both corrosion resistance and electric conductivity; and a fixing nut fastened to the screw part to fix the protective cover in order to prevent the protective cover from being separated from the discharge electrode rod and made of a metal material with both corrosion resistance and electric conductivity. Accordingly, the present invention can inexpensively provide a discharge electrode with excellent corrosion resistance even under severely corrosive conditions, thereby having an advantage of allowing the total manufacturing costs of a vertical wet electrostatic precipitator to be reduced.
