PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means of intelligently maximizing capability for a media download service over a wireless network.SOLUTION: According to apparatus and methods of the present invention, an available bandwidth of the wireless network is estimated and compared against a threshold. If the available bandwidth is above a threshold, the service is operated in a high bandwidth mode. If the available bandwidth is not above the threshold, the service is operated in a low bandwidth mode. |
