The collector unit may be configured to receive and store the collected data received from the plurality of sensors and transmit the collected data to a computing device upon receiving an indication that the collector unit is communicatively coupled to the computing device. The computing device may execute a computer software application that facilitates communication between the computing device and collector unit.

a plurality of sensor units configured to collect data concerning monitored parameters and relay the collected data to a collector unit via a wireless radio frequency communication; and the collector unit communicatively coupled over a wireless radio frequency communication network to the plurality of sensor units and configured to receive and store the collected data received from the plurality of sensors, the collector unit being further configured to transmit the collected data to a computing device upon receiving an indication that the collector unit is communicatively coupled to the computing device, wherein the computing device executes a computer software application that facilitates communication between the computing device and collector unit.
