The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a stent with which drug separation or exfoliation caused by stress concentration and/or strain accompanying expansion and deformation of the stent is inhibited, and which exhibits excellent drug-effect uniformity; and a stent production method. This stent is provided with annular bodies configured from sinuous struts (30) each provided with: a curved portion (31); and a plurality of main strut portions (32, 33). Only outer surfaces (34) of the main strut portions (32, 33), and side surfaces of ends of the main strut portions (32, 33), said ends neighbouring the curved portion (31), are coated with a drug. Coating of the curved part (31) with the drug is avoided. |
