A TV operating method according to one embodiment of the present invention, for assigning a floating channel for contents transmitted from the outside, comprises the steps of: receiving first contents from the outside; creating a floating channel for the first contents; displaying channel change information in accordance with the receipt of the first contents; entering the floating channel in accordance with a first channel change input; displaying a playback screen of the first contents in accordance with the entry into the floating channel; and exiting from the floating channel in accordance with a second channel change input, wherein the floating channel is formed to be the channel closest to the recently viewed channel. |
