The present invention, according to an embodiment, relates to selecting message vector elements to be used in decoding by considering the characteristics of data received by a receiver performing decoding by using a non-binary low density parity check code, channel circumstances, and repeated decoding number for the power state of the receiver and repeated decoding; and performing decoding by using the selected vector elements. By this, time delay caused by decoding and power consumption can be reduced by adjustably adjusting the number of vector elements used in decoding depending on the data characteristics and channel circumstances. Also, other various embodiments can be implemented other than the said embodiment. |
