1. A combination of:
(a) N-hydroxy-3-[4-[[[2-(2-methyl-1H-indol-3-yl)-ethyl]-amino]methyl]phenyl]-2E-2-propenamide or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof; and (b) a proteosome inhibitor, wherein the proteasome inhibitor is selected from the group consisting eof aclacinomycin A; gliotoxin; PS-341; MLN 34 and bortezomib or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof or a topoisomerase inhibitor, wherein the topoisomerase inhibitor is selected from the group consisting of idarubicin, doxorubicin; epirubicin, and mitoxantrone or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
