A surge protection circuit for a PFC circuit. An L line and an N line of an alternating-current power supply are connected to the positive electrode of a PFC capacitor (C1) by means of a high-voltage diode module. A current limiting apparatus (RT1) is connected between the high-voltage diode module and the positive electrode of the PFC capacitor (C1). The surge protection circuit can provide surge protection for a PFC circuit and a post-stage circuit thereof, in particular for a PFC circuit with a middle/small alternating-current power supply. With a current limiting apparatus, the instantaneous energy impact is limited, so that the PFC capacitor (C1) is not easy to be damaged, and residual voltage energy can be effectively absorbed, thereby providing a clamping function. |
