To provide a polymer electrolyte which is capable of maintaining charge and discharge characteristics even at high temperatures without addition of a cooling device. A polymer electrolyte which is obtained by polymerizing an electrolyte precursor composition that contains 25% by mass or less of an aluminate ester represented by formula (1), a monomer having an ethylenically unsaturated bond, glyme and a lithium salt. (In formula (1), each of R1, R2 and R3 independently represents a linear or branched alkyl group having 1-8 carbon atoms, an alkenyl group having 3-6 carbon atoms, an acryloyl group or a methacryloyl group; each of A1, A2 and A3 independently represents an alkylene group having 2-4 carbon atoms; k represents an average number of added moles, which is a real number of 1-100; and each of l and m independently represents an average number of added moles, which is a real number of 0-100.)
