The invention relates to a geared compressor (GCO) comprising a gearing (GE) and at least one compressor (CO1) in the form of a turbocompressor, wherein the gearing (G) has a compressor drive shaft (COSH) for driving the compressor (CO1), which compressor drive shaft (COSH) is connected in torque-transmitting fashion to an impeller (IMPCO), which is designed to be rotatable about an axis of rotation (X), of the compressor (CO1), wherein the compressor (CO1) has a compressor housing (CASCO), wherein the compressor housing (CASCO) has formations (SUPCAS1, SUPCAS2) for support on supports (SUP1, SUP2) of the geared compressor (GCO). To simplify assembly, it is proposed that bearing elements (BE) are provided between the formations (SUPCAS1, SUPCAS2) and the supports (SUP1, SUP2) in order to realize relative displaceability, which bearing elements are designed such that the compressor housing (CASCO) is mounted so as to be displaceable in an axial direction. Also proposed is a corresponding assembly method. |
