<p>The purpose of the present invention is to provide a silicon compound containing a polymerizable group, which is easily handled since it is in liquid at room temperature, and has excellent compatibility with other polymerizable monomers. To this end, provided are a silicon compound represented by general formula (1), and a method for manufacturing the silicon compound. The silicon compound of the present invention is in liquid at room temperature since the melting point is low, thereby being easily handled. Also, it is expected to have excellent compatibility with other monomer components.</p> |
