A method and an apparatus for tumble detection of the human body, and a mobile terminal system. The method comprises: collecting a resultant force acceleration sequence I0 within a fixed time when it is detected that a resultant force acceleration of the human body is less than a low acceleration threshold a0; in a two-dimensional coordinate using the resultant force acceleration and the time as coordinate axes and using a0 as a reference line, calculating curve areas that are bounded by curves and the reference line in the I0 coordinate and located above and below the reference line; and when a difference between the curve area above the reference line and the curve area below the reference line is less than a curve area threshold &Dgr;S, and the time occupied by the resultant force acceleration below the reference line is greater than a low acceleration time threshold &Dgr;T, determining that the human body tumbles. The apparatus is widely applied, cheap, easy to carry, and highly practical; and more importantly, fully takes the motion and action features of the human body into consideration, thereby improving the detection rate and reducing the misjudgment rate. |
