The present invention relates to a superconductive current limiting element of a current limiter and a method for manufacturing a superconductive current limiting element of a current limiter in which a current limiting element can be constituted in series by stacking linear superconducting wire materials or in parallel by stacking superconducting wire materials such that at least one superconducting wire material is included in the same layer so that the current limiting element can be easily constituted in series or in parallel, and a winding machine is not required to constitute the current limiting element.
