A stretcher supporting platform having rails 25, 26 held in spaced relation by members 23, 24 is pivotally mounted about a vertical pivot 26 and is held in the desired position by a wing nut 42 which clamps the arcuate slotted plate 40. The pivot 26 may be carried in a transverse slide to enable the stretcher to be moved bodily sideways and the platform may also be tiltable about a horizontal axis.
