<p>The invention describes a mobile railway signalling device (10), comprising: - an optical signaller (11) adapted to be electronically controlled; a control and processing unit (C_U) operatively connected to the optical signaller (11) for electronically controlling the optical signaller so that it selectively takes up an optical signalling state belonging to a plurality of possible optical signalling states adapted to convey driving information to the driving crew of a railway vehicle; - a connection interface (7,8) adapted to operatively connect the control and processing unit (C_U) to a pair of balises (Bl, B2). The control and processing unit (C_U) as well as being configured to control the optical signaller is configured to transmit, through the connection interface (7,8), telegrams (T1,T2) to the pair of balises (B1,B2), in order to make sure that the balises (B1,B2) contain encoded information adapted to be received by the railway vehicle on each occasion coherent with said optical signalling state taken up.</p> |
