<p>Disclosed are an alignment film material and a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display panel. The method comprises: preparing a first substrate, a second substrate and liquid crystals, an alignment film being disposed on a surface of at least one of the first substrate and the second substrate, the alignment film material comprising a solvent and a substance dissolved in the solvent, the substance comprising at least one first polymer, the first polymer comprising a main chain and side chains, part of the side chains comprising alkyl groups with preset lengths, tail ends of the alkyl groups comprising cyclohexene functional groups, functional groups with steric hindrances being disposed at para-positions or meta-positions of the cyclohexene functional groups to allow the side chains to have the performance of forming sustained vertical alignment; aligning the first substrate and the second substrate, and injecting liquid crystals between the first substrate and the second substrate to form a liquid crystal cell; and applying a voltage on the liquid crystal cell, and irradiating ultraviolet light on the liquid crystal cell to allow liquid crystal molecules of the liquid crystals to change from a state of vertical alignment into a state of preset alignment. By means of the foregoing mode, the present invention can reduce the occurrence of the Mura phenomenon of the liquid crystal display panel, and improve the display quality of a product.</p> |
