PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting element for an AC voltage and a light-emitting element package including the same.SOLUTION: A light-emitting element of the present invention includes: a plurality of light-emitting cells each having a first-conductivity-type semiconductor layer, an active layer under the first-conductivity-type semiconductor layer, and a second-conductivity-type semiconductor layer under the active layer; a plurality of conductive contact layers formed under each light-emitting cell; a first electrode layer coupled to the first-conductivity-type semiconductor layer of a first light-emitting cell of the plurality of light-emitting cells; a plurality of second electrode layers each disposed under each conductive contact layer and having a part coupled to the first-conductivity-type semiconductor layer of the next light-emitting cell; a third electrode layer disposed under the conductive contact layer disposed under the last light-emitting cell of the plurality of light-emitting cells; a first electrode coupled to the first electrode layer; a second electrode coupled to the third electrode layer; an insulating layer formed around the first to third electrode layers; and a conductive support member formed under the insulating layer and coupled under the second electrode layer disposed under a center-side light-emitting cell of the plurality of light-emitting cells.
