The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a resin composition for laser engraving, which is capable of providing a flexographic printing plate that exhibits excellent rinsing properties with respect to engraving dust that is produced during laser engraving, excellent engraving sensitivity, excellent printing durability and excellent long-term printing durability; a flexographic printing original plate for laser engraving, which uses this resin composition for laser engraving; a method for making a flexographic printing plate, which uses this flexographic printing original plate; and a flexographic printing plate which is obtained by this method for making a flexographic printing plate. A resin composition for laser engraving according to the present invention is characterized by containing a resin (component (A)), which is a plastomer and a vulcanizing agent (component (B)), and is also characterized by containing 0 part by mass or more but less than 0.1 part by mass of a compound (component (C)) having a hydrolyzable silyl group and/or a silanol group per 100 parts by mass of the component (A). |
