Provided is a vehicular lighting fixture control system that can suppress degradation or damage to a semiconductor light-emitting element due to sun light, and that can maintain irradiation efficiency of the semiconductor light-emitting element. The vehicular lighting fixture control system is provided with: a projection lens (48); a semiconductor light-emitting element (52-1 to 52-13) that is disposed in the vicinity of a rear focal point of the projection lens (48) and that emits light toward the projection lens (48); a movable shade (55) movable between a shielding position at which the light emitted from the semiconductor light-emitting element (52-1 to 52-13) and incident on the projection lens (48) can be shielded, and a non-shielding position at which the light emitted from the semiconductor light-emitting element (52-1 to 52-13) and incident on the projection lens (48) is not shielded; and a headlight control unit that implements control to move the movable shade (55) to the shielding position when the semiconductor light-emitting element (52-1 to 52-13) is in switched-off state.
