P-CSCF RESTORATION

A method of identifying whether Proxy Call Session Control Function, 'P-CSCF', restoration is supported, is disclosed. The method comprises receiving, when a Mobility Management Enitity, 'MME' or Serving General Packet Radio Service, 'GPRS', Support Node, 'SGSN' supports the P-CSCF restoration, support information provided by the MME/SGSN to indicate support of the P-CSCF restoration and identifying whether the MME or SGSN supports the P-CSCF restoration based on the support information provided by the MME/SGSN.
