Provided is a power transmission apparatus capable of highly accurately adjusting resonant frequencies of a plurality of power transmitters. This power transmission apparatus includes a first power transmitter and a second power transmitter, each of which adjusts electrostatic capacitance of a variable capacitance unit such that a resonant frequency is obtained, said electrostatic capacitance being adjusted on the basis of a change degree of a phase difference with respect to a change quantity of the electrostatic capacitance when the electrostatic capacitance is changed. A first control unit adjusts the resonant frequency of the first power transmitter in a state wherein the second power transmitter is turned off, and a second control unit adjusts the resonant frequency of the second power transmitter in a state wherein the first power transmitter is turned off. |
