The purpose of the present invention is to provide a friction stirring tool, a friction stir welding device and a friction stir welding method with which the parts of the metal materials that are to be welded can be friction stir welded in a suitable manner, while limiting the load applied to the tool, even if the thickness of the parts to be welded varies. The configuration of this friction stirring tool is such that a first rotating tool (21) has a first tool main body (31) having a first shoulder portion (35) which comes into contact with the obverse surface of a groove portion (6), a first probe (32) projecting to a distal end side from the first tool main body (31), and a protruding portion (33) projecting to the distal end side from the first probe (32), and a second rotating tool (21) has a second tool main body (41) having a second shoulder portion (45) which comes into contact with the reverse surface of the groove portion (6), a second probe (42) projecting to a distal end side from the second tool main body (41), and a protrusion accommodating portion (43) provided on the second probe (42) and capable of accommodating the protruding portion (33) of the first rotating tool (21). |
