A method for interacting, by a NodeB, with an X2 gateway, a NodeB, and an X2 gateway. The method comprises a process of performing registration for a NodeB, and the process comprises: a home evolved NodeB (HeNB) or an evolved NodeB (eNB) sending a first registration request message to an X2 gateway, the first registration request message carrying a NodeB identifier of the NodeB and further carrying the following one or more set of information of the NodeB: location information of the HeNB or eNB, serving cell information of the HeNB or eNB, and a closed member group identifier and access mode information of the HeNB; and the X2 gateway receiving the first registration request message, and then storing a matching relationship between the NodeB identifier of the HeNB or eNB and an address of a transport network layer (TNL), and returning a registration response message.
