A UE (100) establishes downlink communication with a serving cell in a downlink frequency band comprising multiple resource blocks that were subjected to frequency division. A portion of the resource blocks constitutes an ePDCCH region for transferring downlink control signals. The remaining resource blocks constitute a data region for transferring downlink user data. The UE (100) derives the channel state of the data region aside from the channel state of the ePDCCH region, and transmits a first CSI corresponding to the channel state of the data region to the serving cell.
