PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an attachment/detachment direction of a transfer unit from being limited by other members of an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a first unit having an endless belt stretched by a plurality of stretching members; and a second unit having a cleaning member which comes into contact with the endless belt of the first unit to remove toner on the endless belt. In a transfer unit detachable from the image forming apparatus, the second unit swings with respect to the first unit around a rotation shaft of one of the stretching members of the first unit, and comes into contact with a guide member of the image forming apparatus to change an attitude with respect to the first unit. |
