PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ameliorate weaknesses of conventional toner based on polyester resins for providing excellent low temperature fixing properties while at the same time improving stability during storage.SOLUTION: A polycarbonate is used which has a number average molecular weight of 500 to 10000 g/mol, a glass transition point of 30 to 80°C and a hydroxyl group value of 30 mg KOH/g or less.
