A system and method for mark-up language document rank analysis that may be performed automatically and that may also determine one or more differences between mark-up language documents with regard to their relative rank.

A method for analyzing a mark-up language document that is indexable by an internet based indexing computer program, the method being performed by a computer, the method comprising: inputting at least one search keyword to the internet based indexing computer program through the internet; receiving a response to said inputting, said response including at least one returned mark-up language document; analyzing said response according to a supervised training procedure; and analyzing the mark-up language document according to said at least one search keyword and said analysis of said response according to said supervised training procedure.
