The invention is directed to a valve (2) for a compressed gas cylinder (4), comprising: a valve body (6) with an inlet (8), an outlet (10) and a passage (12) connecting the inlet with the outlet; a shut-off device (20) of the passage (12) with an actuating pin (42) extending in the passage; a check-valve (18) between the shut-off device (20) and the inlet (8), the check valve comprising a seat (30) and a movable closing member (26) initially held at a position distant from said seat by contact with a guiding surface (22a) and movable past said position by the pin (42) so as to cooperate with said seat (30) and prevent a refilling flow of gas from the outlet (10) to the inlet (8). The guiding surface (22a) is on a tubular portion (22) fixed to the valve body (6) and comprising at least one radial aperture (24) so as to allow the refilling flow of gas to by-pass the closing member (26) when in the distant position. |
