The present invention relates to a polarizing plate and an image display apparatus comprising same, the polarizing plate comprising: a polarizer; and a protection layer formed on at least one side of the polarizer, wherein the protection layer is a cured product of a radical curable composition that comprises: (A) a radical polymerizable compound of which a molecule comprises at least one hydrophilic functional group; (B) a multifunctional (meth)acrylic compound; (C) a phosphate compound of which a molecule comprises one or two (meth)acrylic groups; and (D) a radical initiator.
