The objective of the invention is to provide a radio communication apparatus (1) that can ensure tolerance to interference, follow transmission path variations and avoid degradation of transmission efficiency. The radio communication apparatus (1), which performs radio communications by use of multicarrier system, includes a transmission unit (20) and a reception unit (30). The transmission unit (20) comprises: a null insertion unit (203) that distributes and arranges null symbols in a time-frequency two-dimensional space in radio data; and a differential modulation unit (205) that performs differential modulation in the data symbol parts other than the null symbols. The reception unit (30) comprises: an interference measurement unit (305) that measures, for data symbols to be measured, interference powers by use of those data symbols and also by use of null symbols adjacent to each other in the time-frequency two-dimensional space; and a delay detection unit (306) that performs weighting of the data symbols by use of the respective interference powers measured for the respective data symbols and performs delay detections between the data symbols.
