The objective of the present invention is to provide a planographic printing original plate having excellent white-light stability and excellent printing durability of the printing plate obtained, a method for manufacturing said plate, and a method for fabricating a planographic printing plate. This planographic printing original plate is characterized in that an image-formation layer and and a protective layer are provided on a support, the image-formation layer containing (i) a sensitizing dye, (ii) a polymerization initiator, (iii) an ethylenically unsaturated compound, and (iv) a binder polymer; and the protective layer containing an inorganic laminar compound to which a transition metal compound is bonded. The transition metal compound preferably includes a transition metal oxide. |
