A very small amount of toxic substances included in mineral sulfur (S) can be classified as arsenic (As-Arsenic), cadmium (Cd-Cadmium), mercury (Hg-Mercury), lead (Pb-Lead), chrome (Cr-Chroma), and nickel (Ni-Nikel). The present invention relates to a method for extracting pure sulfur with a purity of 99.99% by removing a toxic substance. According to the present invention, 20% of mineral sulfur and 80% of distilled water are put together in an extractor in vacuum at high-temperatures (200 to 300°C) and pressures (2 to 3 atmospheres), and the mineral sulfur and the distilled water are heated for one hour. Since mineral sulfur is well dissolved in water at a temperature equal to or more than 117°C, gas having a light specific gravity (pure O2) is evaporated, when the distilled water heating-dissolved by a concentrating process passes through a super cooler, thereby collecting only the distilled water having a dissolved sulfur. Sulfurous water is manufactured through a process (a filtering step) of precipitating the reactant and filtering out the sludge of the precipitated reactant, wherein the sulfurous water contains 5 to 30 parts by weight % of sulfur component as an active component, the sulfur component is included in a form of sulfur particles, sulfur compounds, ions of the sulfur compounds, or sulfur solution. The small amount of toxic included in the sulfur distilled water, which is the arsenic, chrome, lead, mercury, etc., are removed in the following high-speed centrifugal separation process depending on a specific gravity of the materials, and pure sulfur is extracted. The purified sulfur is extracted from the sulfur containing ion in the distilled water so as to to be formed in nanoparticles. The purified sulfur from which a toxic substance is removed can be safely utilized as a replacement component of a vegetable sulfur (MSM) in various fields. |
