This biological movement measurement device measures the movement of an organism on the basis of changes, in light transmitted through an optical fiber, due to stress applied to the optical fiber. The biological movement measurement device is provided with a light emitting element for outputting light to the optical fiber, and a setting section for setting the emission strength of the light emitting element. In the setting section, the emission strength setting value is modifiable.
