PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a "push-type" content distribution system utilizing application software that can be downloaded to a user terminal.SOLUTION: The following are interconnected through a network: a user terminal 1 where application software is downloaded; a content provider terminal 2; an application server 3 that stores content data, which is uploaded from the provider terminal, in a storage unit, and can distribute it to the user terminal; and an ASP server 4 having a database. The application server stores user attribute information received from the user terminal, content selection information, and content history information; transmits them to the ASP server so as to store them in the database; and selects specific content data on the basis of the content selection information and distributes it to the user terminal. The ASP server is configured so that a result, which is obtained by retrieving or tabulating information in the database under an arbitrary condition on the basis of a request from the provider terminal, can be output from the provider terminal. |
