This daylighting device comprises a planar optical member (1) and a support member. The planar optical member (1) further comprises a planar structure body, further comprising: a plurality of linear bodies (3) arrayed approximately in parallel and formed from a translucent material; and a plurality of binding members which are positioned in a direction which intersects the plurality of linear bodies (3) and bind the plurality of linear bodies (3) in the approximately parallel array. The linear bodies (3) further comprise reflective faces which reflect light which enters the linear bodies (3) from a direction which intersects the length direction of the linear bodies (3), and refractive faces which refract the light. In at least a portion of the planar structure body, the orientation of the reflective faces of at least some of the plurality of linear bodies (3) approximately match, and the orientation of the refractive faces of at least some of the linear bodies approximately match. |
