An irradiation-conditions setting unit (52) sets irradiation conditions according to the irradiation angle of radiation emitted from a radiation source (26). The radiation source (26) emits radiation toward a breast at a plurality of different irradiation angles on the basis of set irradiation conditions. A radiation detector (36) generates a plurality of projected images corresponding to each of the plurality of irradiation angles. An image correction unit corrects each of the projected images so as to lessen the difference between projected images in the contrast and/or concentration values of each of the plurality of projected images. A reconfiguration unit (58) reconfigures a cross-sectional image on the basis of the corrected plurality of projected images.
